Who We Are
Aruna's senior partners and associates have been active professionals in engineering, computer programming and website development, geography, environment and natural resources management in Cambodia since 1993, working in close collaboration with government agencies and local groups. The company maintains an extensive network of contacts among Cambodian technical personnel capable of delivering services in all aspects of development work, including GIS/RS, engineering, natural resources management, surveying, training programs, institutional strengthening, and project management and monitoring. Aruna can field such personnel for short and long-term assignments, in the framework of donor-funded and private-sector projects and within our turnkey projects.
What We Do
Aruna are a Cambodian and Lao-registered company established in Phnom Penh in 1997 and are a regional leader for remote sensing, GIS, GPS, web-based mapping software and natural resources management consulting services. Aruna work with a range of private sector and government partners in Lao PDR and Cambodia in all natural resource management sectors providing mapping products, services and management information systems for forestry, protected area management, agriculture and topographic survey.
Our focus is on providing integrated solutions to specific problems. by combining our local knowledge with the right tools for the job whilst working closely with counterparts so that their capacity is developed for the future. The main tools used are spatial information technology, especially remote sensing including satellite imagery and aerial photography, Global Positioning Systems (GPS) receivers and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software.
What We Sell
We are a distributor of ESRI Geographical Information Systems (GIS) Software, PCI Geomatics software, Garmin GPS equipment, and Trimble Survey equipment, and satellite imagery from Airbus Defence and Space and Planet.
